This site is a personal presentation and does not collect personal data automatically. Below is what happens to data you send me yourself.
Who the controller is
The controller is Prof. MUDr. Jozef Záhumenský, PhD., MPH. For data-protection matters: konzultacie@zahumensky.eu.
What data I process
The site has no contact form and no user accounts. I process personal data only when you contact me by e-mail or telephone, and only to the extent you provide it (name, contact details, and the content of your enquiry). Where a message concerns your health it is a special category of data under Article 9 GDPR, and I process it solely to reply and, where agreed, to consult.
Legal basis and retention
The legal basis is your consent, given by contacting me; where a consultation or expert report is agreed, performance of that contract; and statutory obligations for keeping medical records. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with the matter; medical records and expert reports for the periods set by law.
Who I share it with
I do not pass data to third parties for marketing and I do not sell it. Technical service providers (e-mail and hosting) may have access to the extent needed to run the service, under confidentiality.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses no advertising or analytics cookies and does not track your behaviour. The hosting provider may keep standard technical access logs (IP address, time, browser) for security and operations.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification and erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and the right to object, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time. Write to the address above to exercise them. You also have the right to complain to the Slovak Data Protection Authority.
