Women's reproductive rights
I speak publicly about access to contraception and about conscientious objection, which denies patients even medically indicated procedures.
Professor and head of clinic. Advocate for women’s reproductive rights. Devotee of evidence-based medicine. Father of four.
Not only medicine. What I write, lecture and publish about repeatedly — with the sources to back it.
I speak publicly about access to contraception and about conscientious objection, which denies patients even medically indicated procedures.
I speak about the standing of midwives, conditions in Slovak maternity wards, and why both staff and mothers are leaving them.
Both my doctoral and habilitation theses examined what birth does to a woman long term — incontinence, sexuality and quality of life postpartum.
I also study how worldview shapes clinical decisions — for instance future doctors’ attitudes to HPV vaccination — and how to reduce caesareans systematically.

It is a patient’s basic right to know a specialist’s second opinion. As the author of a comprehensive textbook, a university teacher and a court expert, I am obliged to keep up daily with the latest information in my field and to stay current in modern evidence-based medicine. I will prepare a second opinion on your health problem, founded on the most recent findings of medical science, adapted to Slovak conditions and backed by my professional experience.
It is intended above all for pregnant women with a high-risk pregnancy, or with a chronic condition. I give particular care to women with lasting problems after birth, above all those tied to pelvic-floor dysfunction — problems with urination, with stool, or in the sexual sphere. Consultations are provided together with a gynaecological physiotherapist.
Expert reports are provided to private individuals, law firms, criminal-justice authorities and the courts.
