Thirty years in obstetrics.
Since graduating with distinction in 1995 I have worked in obstetrics, perinatology and fetal-maternal medicine — my main focus is monitoring the quality of maternity units and the sound conduct of birth — physiological and high-risk alike (after 1 or 2 caesareans, breech births, twin births) — and I work just as closely on the consequences of birth for women’s health and quality of life.
